I have been seeing unusual activity since I was a child. Growing up in a small town, this was not something that was talked about at the dinner table. When I tried to explain that I had seen shadow people, or apparitions, I was severely chastised by my elders and told to stop talking nonsense! I decided to become active in paranormal research when I discovered that both of my daughters had also been given this gift, and they were very afraid of the contact that was occurring around them. I decided that I was not going to let my daughters go through what I had to go through, and I was going to learn about the paranormal in a ‘scientific’ manner so that I would better understand it, as well as help them to understand and not be afraid.

I became interested in investigation because I have seen some unusual things in my lifetime. I have seen apparitions in my home, I have seen shadow people numerous times, and I have also been the victim of some poltergeist activity. I want to learn why this happens to me, and also I would like to be able to help others understand why paranormal activity happens around them also.

I have always been interested in the pursuit of the unknown, whether it's regarding the mysteries of the universe, the mind or the paranormal. My first time I became actively interested in the paranormal was a mother/daughter trip to San Diego, there we were able to go to the Whaley House which is touted as the most haunted house in America. But it wasn't until a few years ago that I was able to go on some actual investigations with Kat Tedsen and Bev Rydel authors of Haunted Michigan. I have been to the Ohio State Reformatory (where parts of Shawshank Redemption was shot), the Terrace Inn numerous times and Mission Point on Mackinac Island. When I go into an investigation it is with the utmost respect of the structure, the people that live and or work there and also in the lives that have passed through there. If indeed the spirits of people are trying to communicate with the living I would want them to know that there are those of us that are willing to listen to what they have to say.

I'm a Mother of Two gifted Children, and I also have some abilities and would like to explore and see if we can get some of the answers everyone seems to want to know, Hopefully with our investigations we can help answer these questions that linger in our minds, and we would like to open communication with those we love and miss on the other side.....And with doing this I can open up more to my abilities.

I wanted to join a paranormal group for a long time and when the chance came up I jumped on it. I grew up listening to my family sharing paranormal activity and when I move into my house I live in now I saw a full body apparition of a man. I came out of my bathroom and saw a man walk from my living room into my kitchen and when I got there was no one in my kitchen. I want to try and find out what I saw was real and if ghosts really do exist.
