Investigations

April 2012-- The OCP Team made another trip to the 'pioneer cemetary' in Otsego County. The team spent a couple solid hours collecting evidence and doing some training. Initial evidence review didn't have anything spectatular, but upon reviewing the EVP evidence, it was apparent that the spirts were trying to make themselves known. We have an EVP of a young girl saying 'I'm Dead!", as well as three different occasions of a man answering our call out of tell us your name, by saying 'Jacob'. Upon further research at the county library, we did turn up a Jacob Heartly that died December 2, 1888 that was buried somewhere in this cemetary, but the records do not indicate which plot he is in. (The records were burned in a fire in 1934, and some of the plots are now listed as 'unknown' in the official records. The grave markers are too worn down to read). Jacob Jeartly is buried somewhere in this cemetary, but at this point, we don't know which plot is his. Was he trying to contact us to let us know???
We also have a young child asking 'Can I Play?' as well as a menacing voice stating at one point, 'Come Here!'. We are definatley going to return to this area and continue our investigations at this cemetary. We will keep you all posted to our findings. OCP made another trip to the Lake City area to a home that we have previously investigated. The homeowner had been in contact with us, and was informing us that the activity had escalated since our last visit. We decided to go back and see what we could find. Wendie and Selena, who are 'sensitives' immediately picked up on some energy, and stated that they could 'feel something in the home'. We set up our equipment and proceeded to cover the home inside and out. Our investigation revealed that there was definately something interesting going on in the home, as both myself and Wendie had equipment that we had turned 'on' only to find out later that it had been turned 'off'. After reviewing our audio, we found that as one of the homeowners, Kelly and myself decended into the basement, a male presence made itself known by saying Kelly's name into the audio recorder. We also had the disembodied voice of a woman proceed to tell us what time is was when I asked and was looking at my watch. We also place a bible on the counter during our investigation, and an EVP was caught on the recorder that had been placed there. We are going to try to make an audio of this for all to hear. During our investigation, we had a few EMF spikes as well as some laser thermometer anomilies during the night.
